Established in 1959, Woodstock Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to more than 400 students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. Its curriculum includes reading, writing, social studies, music, physical education, math, art, science and English. It administers early childhood, English as a Second Language, and gifted and talented education programs. The school also maintains a community council, as well as employs over 20 teachers. It operates a parent-teacher association that conducts several fundraising events and programs. In addition, Woodstock Elementary School is a part of the Granite School District, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools. The district s schools maintain libraries and media centers that stock books, periodicals, and instructional and reference materials. Its schools organize a range of athletic activities that includes football, basketball, volleyball, and track and field.
