The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources works to protect existing wildlife habitat and manage more than 500,000 acres of critical habitats and watersheds. It enforces hunting and fishing rules and regulations and offers information regarding fish hatcheries, aquatic nuisance species, and agriculture and fish stocking. The division issues fishing and hunting licenses and permits and maintains fishing reports and records. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources also conducts various programs that promote teamwork, provide leadership training opportunities, and motivate employees to become more productive, efficient and successful. The division supports community fishing and habitat programs. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources maintains one of its locations in Ogden, Utah.
