Utah Festival Opera's five-week festival includes four productions of grand opera, operetta, light opera and Broadway-style musical theater. Its productions are performed in revolving repertory so that visitors can enjoy all four shows during a two- and three-day stay. Its season also includes orchestral and vocal concerts and a full schedule of audience enrichment activities, such as production seminars, literary seminars, preperformance discussions and backstage tours. The festival takes place in the Ellen Eccles Theatre in Logan, Utah is a more than 1,000-seat European-style theater built in 1923. Its Opera by Children integrates the arts into the core curriculum and encourages creativity while building life skills in students. Utah Festival Opera offers sets and costumes on rent and is located in Logan.
