They now have a smartcard for their system http://www.rideuta.com/mc/?page=UTA-Home-FarePayPromo Which came in handy riding the uta ski bus so i didn't have to provide exact change everytime....

Employees are terrific but this system is not designed for those of us unfamiliar with UTA. You have to tag but except for the bus, the tag machine is all by itself not inside the vehicle....
