History
Sage Market began over one hundred years ago with a local Japanese farmer who sold his fresh produce from his farm in Salt Lake City. Our business grew and moved from Sage Farm to 52 West 1st South in Salt Lake City, the heart of Salt Lake's Japantown. There, our business expanded to include imported Japanese goods and prepared Japanese food. Our business moved from Japantown to its present location in the late 1960s. Sage continues to grow and expand its menu and inventory of Japanese products.
