About Q Therapeutics Q Therapeutics is an emerging biopharmaceutical company that utilizes cell-based technologies to develop new treatments for debilitating diseases of the central nervous system ( CNS ). Our company was founded based on the pioneering work of Dr. Mahendra Rao at the University of Utah. In 2004, we began the process of translating decades of research at the University of Utah and the National Institute of Health ( NIH ) into practical new therapeutic products.
