History
Leah discovered massage at the age of 8 after seeing a painting of someone giving a massage. Her mother explained what the painting was and then gave her a massage that night. Needless to say, after Leah's massage, she was intrigued and hooked. She started teaching her friends how to give a good massage, so they could trade. Really, her love of giving a massage developed from a selfish wish to be on the receiving end. 15 years later, and soon after a whiplash injury, Leah was ready to change professions- she forked up the money, studied massage at Swedish Institute in New York, receiving an Associates in Occupational Therapy in Massage. She then started working for a massage studio and also began building her private practice. She then moved her business to Salt Lake, still seeing clients in New York every 3-4 months. She calls her business Free Bodied because every body should be free of pain and every person should be able to happily do the activities they love to do.
