Established in 1998, Elk Meadows Elementary serves more than 865 students in kindergarten through grade six. It offers reading, science, physical education, computer technology and environmental studies classes. The school serves students in Garden Grove, Vista Farms, Elk Meadows, Whispering Sands, Ashford Acres, Cameron Park, Edenview and Hearthstone in Utah. Elk Meadows Elementary operates a community council, as well as a parent-teacher association that offers information related to adolescent development. It also offers English as a Second Language and gifted and talented education programs. The school provides a variety of food items for lunch. Elk Meadows Elementary is a part of the Jordan School District, which serves over 81,000 students through several elementary, middle and high schools.
