History
Dolcetti began in 2004 with with Italian ice cart placed around Salt Lake City. Co-owners and co-creators, Mark England and his partner, soon realized they wanted to make something else that reminded them of their many trips to Italy--gelato. After a year of and research and experiment (and haunting the best gelaterias in Italy to find authentic flavors and ingredients), the team began creating their own gelato batches. In 2007, Dolcetti flew in a master gelato maker to continue refining the shop's skill sets and add new recipes to their collection.
