Diamond J Management LLC started its apartment aquisition and management companies in 2002. At this time the founder if Diamond J purchased Diamond J's first building in downtown Ogden Utah. It was a small 6 unit property that had once been a mansion and then converted to a 6 plex. Diamond J took this old place and re-did all the coverings and building systems to make it safer and more desirable to future tenants. After 2002 Diamond J went on a buying and renovation spree for the following 15 years, at which time, and at its Pinnical, had 1000 owned and managed apartment units. Diamond J became the 15th largest property manager in the state of Utah and the 10th largest apartment owner in the state. As Diamond J became more and more sophisticated in its asset and management it took on all types of low income housing programs which further seperated us from the rest and cemented DJM as the best management company in Utah.
Specialties
Diamond J Management specializes in the acquisition, repositiining and the management of class B and C apartment buildings. In other words we take highly run down and under managed apartment buildings and renovate them. When done with a renovation our goal is for that building to be the best it can be and the best in its immediate area. At the end of the process listed above we will professionally manage the building and keep the rents lower than the area median rent to help uplift the areas we do business in and more importantly to help keep our customers from being pushed out of the area by impossible rents and criteria.
