History
Chocolate Cottage opened in 1991 by Owners Mel & Barbara Hardman from a Snelgroves origin. Since then the business has been ran with the same idea in mind, all fresh products made onsite in the back manufacturing area. In production there is a Hobart mixer, an industrial size copper kettle, a dipping table for hand dipping with a chocolate melter attached, two enbobers (chocolate coater) with attached 8ft cooling tunnel, a popcorn popper, as well as your everyday stovetop with candy thermometer. Many traditional recipes date back to the early 1900s.
