History
Started in June 2001 at the Salt Lake City Farmer's market, selling fresh Alaska sockeye, kings, halibut, dungeness crab, ling cod, and coho salmon. Introduced New Zealand Bluenose, Moki, Trumpeter, Sea bream, Groper, and many other Pacific species to retail customers. We have been selling local Utah rainbow trout fillets to appreciative customers since day one. Since then we have been the single most consistent seafood vendor at the SLC farmer's market for over a dozen years. Later, in November 2001, our retail store front opened just a hundred yards from our booth at the summer market and we have enjoyed serving a loyal friendship of like minded food lovers ever since. Each year we see more new faces and welcome the familiar people who have graciously allowed our continued success, it is these people who have allowed us to grow and who give us the inspiration to continue.
Specialties
Fresh seafood, also frozen items to compliment. What we do is bring in, to customers specifications, fish and shellfish which is in season and sustainable as much as possible. We try to incorporate special orders with our normal program to give customers options to try new items or recreate old favorites. Supplying restaurants allows us to keep a good flow of items for both wholesale and retail. We truly enjoy helping people get what they want and helping them understand the options of how to use those items to good effect.
