HistoryCommunity Wellness Clinic opened in 1989 in response to the overwhelming need for prenatal care in Montgomery county. At the time of our opening, there we NO physicians in the country who would accept medicaid full time and only TWO who would accept it on a limited basis ( 10 patients maximum ) When Community Wellness Clinic first opened it had four employees. 1 OB GYN nurse, one Medical assistant, one front office clerk and one lab technician, we now we have 13. Community Wellness Clinic is a privately owned clinic that functions just as any public health entity. our clinic administrator and founder is Marilyn Gregory ( WHNP-BC ) We currently have three Womens Health Nurse Practitioners, one Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, one RN and one Supervising physicianSpecialtiesAt Community Wellness Clinic we pride our selves on providing our patients with the best care possible, while always striving to make it even better! We primarily focus on Prenatal care, family planning care and Children sick and checkup visits.
