The Fort Worth Star-Telegram provides news and information to residents in the greater Dallas area and the state of Texas. It has a circulation of more than 235,000 daily and 332,000 on Sunday. It has received two Pulitzer prizes for public service and news photography. It also provides information on local entertainment, school news, maps and local services. The Fort Worth Star was founded in 1906 and merged with the Fort Worth Telegram in 1909 to become the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. In addition to its headquarters in Fort Worth, the paper maintains two zoned-edition offices, one in Northeast Tarrant County and the other in Arlington.
