Virtuous Floors was founded by Eric Townsend whose intent is to clean floors responsibly while making a positive impact on the environment. Eric began cleaning floors when a few of his friends, familiy members and their pets developed allergies after Hurricane Ike. Though they did everything in their power to rid their living spaces of allergens, they were unsuccessful. Eric realized that the build up of dirt and harsh chemicals they used had alot to do with the allergies they were experiencing and his research underscored this fact.
