We were started by two doctors, Dr. Fitch and Dr. Woolridge in the late 50's and through the years, various doctors have worked here. We are currently owned by Dr. Joel Solis and Dr. Sam Ramirez

McAllen Family Medicine Residency Program was established in 1977 to train family doctors to provide medical services for the residents of South Texas. Its academic curriculum includes family practice, inpatient medicine, internal medicine, neonatology, geriatric medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, emergency medicine and pediatrics.
