Urban Movement improves and enhances the human experience through mindfulness, community and the culture of movement.
Specialties
We teach mindful movement. Our group classes are a blend of Parkour, Art Du Deplacement, Freerunning, Natural Movement Fitness (MovNat), Yoga, Gymnastics, Dance and Martial Arts. We teach running, jumping, climbing, crawling, balancing, vaulting and just how to move better. The ultimate goal is for our students to be able to efficiently and to effectively navigate any environment using only their bodies. We we break our classes into two main age ranges - Ages 6-12 & Ages 13-50+. Then, within each class, we split those groups into smaller groups of mixed ages and experience. Beginners are welcome. We will find something to challenge and improve everyone.
