Gary Cochrane established Trend Builders in 1977 and to this day is family owned and operated. In 1990 Trend Builders incorporated under the name Irving Trend Builders, Inc. In 2012 Irving Trend Builders started distributing and installing the TAPCO branded security screens.

Irving Trend Builders, Inc. is comprised of our construction (Trend Builders and security screen (Trend Security Screens) business. Construction/Remodeling Trend Builders is the name of our construction business. Trend Builders is a design/build firm; meaning we architecturally design our projects and build the projects we design. Residentially, our primarily focus is remodeling, additions, and new custom homes. Commercially, Trend Builders focuses on remodeling office space, kitchens, and bathrooms. Security Trend Security Screens (TSS) in an authorized distributor and installer for TAPCO Security Screens. Security Screens are not unlike burglar bars in how they protect your home and/or business. The advantages of having security screens over burglar bars are endless and include, insect protection, screens double as solar screens, TAPCO screens do not detract from the appearance of your home or business, and these screens can open allowing egress during cases of fire.
