Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation (WRR) is a non-profit organization founded in 1977 by Lynn Cuny, dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing native wildlife while providing sanctuary and individualized care for animals in need. With a mission to protect wildlife and promote ethical relations between humans and the natural world, WRR receives over 10,000 wild animals annually, including mammals, birds, and reptiles.
At WRR, over 500 animals find permanent residence in a sanctuary where they live comfortably and stimulated without confinement. The organization believes in the deserving care, attention, and respect for all animals, regardless of species, through advocacy, education, and direct animal care efforts.
