Dr. James H. Johnson is a California-licensed eye surgeon / ophthalmologist with Board Certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2004. He has a background in general ophthalmology and laser vision correction. He changed the focus of his practice to treating vitreous eye floaters in 2007. He has the only practice in the world exclusively dedicated to treating these (usually age-related) densities in the vitreous fluid of the eye which causes moving shadows in the vision commonly called 'floaters'. Dr. Johnson uses an FDA-approved YAG laser to vaporize and destroy these clumped up proteins. Dr. Johnson is a pioneer in this procedure and Vitreous Floater Solutions is an international practice with satisfied patients coming from all over the world.
