The Tarrant Regional Water District, located in Fort Worth, Texas, has been supplying water for more than 80 years. The district owns and operates four reservoirs in the area, including the Lake Bridgeport, Eagle Mountain Lake, Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers reservoirs. It has more than 150 miles of water pipelines, over 25 miles of floodway levees and 40 miles of Trinity River trails. The district serves the needs of more than 1 million people throughout the state. It also offers water quality tests and services that include a sampling schedule, modeling, parameter listing, and monitoring and assessment. The district has various parks and recreational facilities and organizes a variety of activities, such as swimming, boating and fishing.
