Swofford Electric Supply was established in May 1968 by Joe and Gay Swofford, who are still actively involved in the company. The company was incorporated in May 1969, and moved from its original small warehouse on Stadium Drive in Arlington Texas to the current location on 1160 N. Great Southwest Parkway in Grand Prairie Texas, in 1970. A fleet of seven trucks cover an eighty mile radius of delivery routes on schedule dates. Swofford Electric Supply currently services customer's branch locations with direct shipments throughout Texas and six other states. Certified by HUB as a minority owned corporation, this can be utilized on jobs where required. The goal of the Swofford family and it's dedicated employees is to work honestly and fairly with vendors and customers, while providing outstanding service at fair and competitive pricing.
