History
Dr. Michel is originally from New Orleans, LA. She received a bachelor's degree in biology from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. She returned home and earned her medical degree from Tulane School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She completed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During her final year of residency, she was honored as chief resident. Dr. Michel began practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Round Rock, TX in 2006. In August 2008, she joined Oakwood Women's Centre, where she is one of six ob gyn physicians providing care for the women of central Texas.

Promoting women's health is very important to Dr. Michel. She is dedicated to providing preventative care, including prenatal counseling and well-woman exams. Dr. Michel is committed to keeping up with the latest advances in gynecological treatments, and she has been extensively trained in minimally invasive surgery. Also, Dr. Michel has a great deal of experience in managing high-risk pregnancies, especially those complicated with hypertension and/or diabetes. She is honored to bring new life into the world and believes it is a joy and privilege to share that special moment with parents.
