HistoryBack in 2007, we got the opportunity to buy 70 acres of land just outside of our hometown. It was initially bought for family recreation so we built the lake. Then the oil field crashed in East Texas and we were fortunate enough to sell our oil field dependant business. A lot of companies weren't that lucky and had to close their doors. It was at that time we decided we wanted to something that is not oil field dependant. We already had the land so we built the venue. We did all of it ourselves except installing the AC and pouring the concrete. It took us a year to mill all the wood then we started building.
