Scott A. Seidel, M.D., F.A.C.S., is originally from Houston, Texas. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His residency in General Surgery was completed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Dr. Seidel completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and completed his Endovascular Surgery Fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center in Stanford, California. He is an active member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, the Society for Vascular Ultrasound, and the American Heart Association. Dr. Seidel is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Before joining Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons, Dr. Seidel was in practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His interests include all areas of vascular surgery with a special interest in catheter-based minimally invasive interventions.
