Saint Ignatious Malankara Jacobite Syrian Christian Cathedral, located in Carrollton, TX, is a vibrant and growing church under the Malankara Archdiocese of Syrian Orthodox Church in North America. Founded in 1977, it has become the first Cathedral of the Malankara Archdiocese in North America, as declared by His Holiness Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. With over 140 families, the church welcomes visitors to experience worship according to the ancient traditions of the Syriac Orthodox Church.
The church also houses an English Service Chapel, consecrated in 2017, with a vision to build an Orthodox community where youth and young adults can find transformation and growth in Jesus Christ.
