Established in 1988 in Honolulu by Roy Yamaguchi, Roy s is a chain of more than 30 full-service restaurants. Chef Roy Yamaguchi holds the distinct honor of being Hawaii s first recipient of the prestigious James Beard Award. Roy s is predominantly a dinner-only restaurant, and its signature culinary items include hibachi-grilled salmon, Szechwan-spiced pork ribs, blackened island ahi and chocolate souffl s. It also serves appetizers, salads, sushi, entrees, desserts and cocktails. Roy s also offers a fixed-price menu that includes curried chicken, Mongolian beef, miso eggplant and shrimp, salmon steaks and desserts. It provides catering and banquet services, gift cards and recipes. Roy s is a member of the Outback Steakhouse Company. It maintains a presence in Austin, Texas.
