History
In 1978 RRE contracted with the Department of Agriculture to provide aircraft and pilots for screw worms abatement. This effort consisted of over 100 aircraft, supported by pilots and mechanics, and covered the area encompassing the southwest United States southward to Honduras. RRE also operated a fleet of 15 tractor-trailers supporting the program. In 1985 RRE began towing, storage and auctioneering services for the United States Marshals Service in Del Rio, Texas. RRE has worked with other U.S. Government agencies, including the Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Pima County Arizona Fleet Services. RRE currently holds the Asset Management of Seized & Forfeiture Property Contract with Department of Homeland Security (DHS), providing transport, storage and processing, of vehicles in the four southwest border states of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and California.
