History
Reconciliation Outreach was founded in 1986 by Dorothy Moore as an outreach to inner city street kids. In 1995 the ministry established a home for women with children and opened a home for men in 1996. Reconciliation Outreach is known for its leadership in urban ministry and provides a variety of programs for families, children, and the disadvantaged in the city of Dallas.

OUR VISION Transforming Generations. OUR MISSION Is to create a Christian Community in the inner city to meet the needs of broken lives. Reconciliation Outreach provides comprehensive faith-based programs designed to end the cycle of poverty for neighborhood children, youth and families. The after-school program serves at-risk children from kindergarten to fifth grade, and the youth program serves inner-city youth ages ranging from 13-18 by providing mentoring and one-on-one tutoring. The summer camp program serves ages 5 through 18. Reconciliation Outreach also provides affordable housing for the working poor who need to rebuild their finances in a safe environment to become self-sufficient members of their community.
