Our head trainer/owner, JJ spent 10 years in the US Army, and the next 5 years working in corrections and with local law enforcement. In 2013, JJ decided to put his K9/dog knowledge to use and open his own business. He began training pet dogs within their home. This spurred his decision to open a pet supply store, in rural Clayton, NM. As Proven K9 Training continued to grow, so did our clientele. A great number of our clients came from Amarillo and surrounding areas. Proven K9 Training made the decision in 2018, to move to Amarillo. Proven K9 Training continues to grow and improve daily. We pride ourselves on being balanced trainers, and understanding the dog in front of us...... We know each dog learns and grows differently, and we have the ability to adjust our methods with the individual dog. We have a PROVEN curriculum, with support lasting the lifespan of your dog.

We have several packages designed to fit your needs, as well as the needs of your dog; including in home training sessions, one on one training, puppy training, board and train courses, behavior modification, personal protection training, and K9 services for Military and Law Enforcement Agencies. We offer lifetime support with all of our training packages, enabling you to continue growing and learning with your dog. We have about 10 years experience in pet dog obedience.
