ABOUT USWalter D. Gracia, MD, PA, is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than thirty years of experience. His office is conveniently located in the hospital district of Fort Worth, Texas.After growing up in Fort Worth, Dr. Gracia went to undergraduate school at Northwestern University before attending medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He trained in General Surgery at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh.This was followed by a Hand Surgery fellowship with Lynn D. Ketchum at the University of Kansas Medical Center. The last three years of training were at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and consisted of a one year Burn fellowship followed by a two year Plastic Surgery Fellowship.To stay up-to-date in his field, Dr. Gracia is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
