Victor uses pastry creme, not that insipid fluffy white gunk the stores peddle. Needless to say, HUGE difference!

Bolillos--much bigger (and better) than HEB's.

Empanadas--pumpkin and pineapple are remarkable.

Very limited selection but the best in town. But gimme the pan dulce! BTW, those apple fritters are remarkable; a bit pricy but worth it!

Pecan Sandies--taste the real thing and you'll never buy the commercial version again.
