History
Mr. Ward began his legal career at the firm of Ungerman & Vickers, P.C. where he specialized in bankruptcy, banking, transactional, regulatory, and civil litigation. He was then hired as Senior Associate in charge of Litigation for Charles Kaplan at the firm of Simpson, Dowd, Kaplan, Lewis, and Moon. Mr. Ward made the move along with Charles Kaplan to Friedman & Kaplan, P.C. In 1994, Mr. Ward was reunited with his mentor, Aiden Vickers, and formed the law firm of Vickers & Ward. As partner of the firm, Mr. Ward's law firm practiced primarily business and real estate law. His law firm's work included extensive transactional work for financial institutions and regulatory commissions, corporate formalities, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, transactional law, real estate, title work, and bankruptcy law. Mr. Ward moved his practice north in 2001, and presently operates his firm as Lloyd Ward and Associates.
