History
No Tsu Oh was founded in 1996 as a coffee shop... at that time the only other business open on Main Street was the transvestite cantina next door....and some closed down porno houses and pawn shops...long before the Rice Hotel renovations and Minute Maid(formerly Enron Stadium)...it was open all night serving coffee and sandwiches and lots of chess boards...the decor was from the upstairs of the building...leftover detrtus from 100 years of retail failures...it was a bit of a time machine...Downtown slowly revitalized and became the in destination point...then the rail was built and everyone left downtown for midtown...At this point we got a liquor liscense and is one of those places that takes a few times to get...it is eclectic to the point of absurdity and is demographically as diverse as Houston...it is 314 Main and the value of pi is 3.14...it is a bar that is part art project meets business...trying to make the center of a sprawling city actually have relevance
