Andress High School
Andress High School, established in 1961, was named after attorney Ted Andress. It serves students from grades nine through 12. The school provides classes in various subjects, including fine arts, social sciences, language arts, science, mathematics, physical and health education, family and consumer science, career technology and business, foreign language, military sciences, journalism and photography. It has athletic teams for different sports, such as football, basketball, tennis, soccer, swimming, volleyball, wrestling, track and field, baseball and softball. It also provides several extracurricular activities, including band, orchestra, theatre arts, chess, science, German and French clubs, creative writing and debates. Andress High School is governed by the El Paso Independent School District, and is located in El Paso, Texas.
