History
Matter of Time was located in Garden Ridge Pottery, they moved to Central Park Mall (now Park North) in the 1990's, then the final move was to Castle Creek Village on Blanco/410. A separate service center was located on O'Conner Road but today we reside in one location for both sales and service. The owner used to be a clock repairman for Matter of Time in the mid 1990's then had the opportunity to buy the business and both own, run (with help from his wife) and repair clocks and watches in 2004.
Specialties
Clock repair by appointment only. Walk-ins for watches but must call for clock appointment. Watch repair, we also sell watches and clocks. We can do anything from a battery change to a full serivce job on new, vintage and antique (automatic, windup, and quartz watches). Please keep in mind that not all manufactures will sell or make available parts to local repairman, therefore, it is possible that you would have to ship your watch back to the manufacture for the needed repair. Getting a repair done locally is always much easier but it is not always possible. We work on all types of clocks (no employee timeclocks) both wind up and battery operated. We provide in home services for grandfather and large clocks (fees apply). Clock repair is by appointment only, both in store and in home. Please call us for a possible appointment.
