In 1927 Matheson Tri-Gas became one of the first companies to offer a reliable source of high-quality scientific gases and equipment. Today, Matheson s products include specialty gases, such as acetylene, argon, butane, carbon monoxide and dioxide, helium, hydrogen, krypton, methane, neon, nitric oxide, nitrogen, oxygen, propane, propylene, sulfur dioxide and xenon; and gas mixtures, such as arsine, diborane, phosphine and silane. Matheson Tri-Gas also offers a broad line of technologies for the delivery and purification of process and specialty gases. The company provides everything from on-site air separation plants to portable cylinders. Matheson Tri-Gas serves the analytical, industrial and semiconductor industries. Matheson Tri-Gas is a subsidiary of Nippon Sanso Corporation, based in Tokyo. It has specialty gas production facilities and service center located throughout the United States, including one in Houston.
