HistoryTexas Decks was started in 1977 by Bob Sibbison who I came to work for in 1987. Bob and I had a very successful and lengthy business relationship of approximately 14 years during which time I was able to learn from him the ins and outs of designing decks and arbors that not only are beautiful but functional as well. When Bob mentioned he was thinking about retirement in 2000 I realized that I wanted to purchase Texas Decks from him, which I did January 1st of 2001. Since that date I have striven not only to maintain the excellent reputation Texas Decks had acquired over the preceding 23 years but also to grow the company in new and exciting directions.
