I obtained my B.A. in Psychology from Duke University, having completed the first years of my undergraduate training at UCLA. I completed my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and my clinical internship at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Cincinnati, Ohio. I have worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient medicine and psychiatry, community mental health centers, child and adolescent clinics, HMO clinics, and private practice. Originally from Los Angeles, I have been living and practicing in San Antonio since 1991.
