Dr. Mahmood O. Dweik, MD, is a highly respected physician specializing in Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care, and Hospitalist services. With extensive training and experience, he provides expert care to patients facing complex respiratory and sleep disorders. Fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Dweik is committed to delivering personalized, compassionate care that addresses the unique needs of each patient. Dr. Dweik earned his M.D. from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. He completed a rotating internship at Albasheer Tertiary Hospital before pursuing his residency in Internal Medicine at the Scranton-Temple Residency Program. He then went on to complete his fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he served as Chief Fellow during his final year of training. Throughout his career, Dr. Dweik has received numerous honors, including being named one of America’s Top Physicians by the Consumer’s Research Council of America and earning a "Case Report Best in Category Award" at the American College of Chest Physicians conference in 2004. He was also recognized with the "Golden Stethoscope Award" for his outstanding contributions to medical education and the "Primary Care Award" for his exceptional dedication to patient care.
