Temple-Inland Forest Products operates 19 plants and mills throughout the United States and in Canada, including one in Diboll, Texas. These facilities manufacture a wide range of construction and industrial building products, including lumber and studs, wood trim, siding, particleboard, medium-density fiberboard, gypsum wallboard and other fiberboard products. The forest products segment also manages the company's more than 2 million acres of forestland in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and Georgia. Temple-Inland Forest Products is among the largest private landowners in Texas and the fifth-largest corporate forestland owner in the Southern U.S. This business segment Temple-Inland, which began in 1893, accounted for 17 percent of its parent s revenues in 2003. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, Temple-Inland s two other business segments are the corrugated packaging business and a financial services division.
