History
A Langmore portrait is not posed, but discovered: a moment of interior revelation. The Langmore philosophy reflects a desire to capture the soul of the subject. It seeks to reveal intimate relationships between brothers and sisters, children and parents, mothers and newborns. It searches for individuals unaffected. It prospects for identity, not pretense. Across four decades, photography has been both the family business and a shared passion for the Langmores. Lessons and leanings passed along from parents Bank and Dorothy, in turn to be explored by their children Will, John, and Marie, have culminated in thousands of singular artworks...each image to be treasured by its owners for generations to come. For the last 25 years, Langmore Photography has committed itself to matching state of the art technology with classic technique to produce outstanding archival and museum quality prints.
