Founded in 1982, the A-W Produce Company is a family-owned and operated grower and shipper of fresh produce. Located in the middle of the Rio Grande Valley, it utilizes the latest in agricultural technologies to maximize yields and insure an in-season supply of the best produce in the area. The company s produce includes cabbage, cantaloupe, honeydew, carrots, cilantro, onions and parsley. The A-W Produce Company is a member of the Texas Product Association, the Produce Marketing Association and the United Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Association. In the fall of 1999, the company expanded its operation to a larger facility located in Weslaco, Texas.
