History
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, having received my Master's Degree in Social Work in 1984. In 1986 I began co-leading a protective parenting therapy group for parents whose children had been abused and/or neglected. In 1988 I became a full-time therapist again working with parents, as well as children where physical and/or sexual abuse or neglect had occurred. In 1992 I began a part-time private practice, while continuing to also be employed full-time as a therapist. From 1997-2003 I worked as a therapist for an Employee Assistance Program, offering brief, solution-focused therapy to employees and their families. In 2003 I began working full-time in my private practice.
