Dr. Joanna Scoon is a board-certified pulmonary and critical care medicine specialist practicing in Houston. She is passionate about patient care and provides comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients with a broad range of pulmonary conditions. Dr. Scoon completed internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she received the Junior Resident of the Year award. She pursued subspecialty training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston and then served at the same institution as an assistant professor in the Department of Pulmonary Diseases, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. This role allowed her to contribute to the academic community and gain extensive experience in the management of complex pulmonary cases.
