In May 2009, ionadas local founder Brian Combs gave into his desire to work with smaller companies, and left Apogee Search, the company he co-founded in 2001. He had helped grow Apogee Search into one of the largest independent full-service search marketing agencies in the United States and had worked with many notable brands including NPR, Cavender's Western Wear, Golfsmith, the Olive Garden, The SCOOTER Store, and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Brian has actually been working with locally focused websites since early in his career.
