History

Highland Park was incorporated in 1913 and the Town Hall opened in 1924. The residents of the new Town enjoyed concerts, performances, art exhibits and many forms of educational experiences, but lacked a library. In 1929 a group petitioned the Town to add an extension to the Town Hall to house a library, art gallery and council chambers. The Library opened in 1930 and has been enjoyed ever since.

Beautiful library, beautiful flowers and water fountains. Not many books though and the magazines are outdated and not many either. But overall, it is pretty nice.
