History
Ball & Hase began as Ball, Hase & Wisch in 1987 as a firm of Board Certified Criminal Defense Lawyers when Wes Ball, Don Hase and Scott Wisch resigned as senior prosecutors with the Tarrant County District Attorneys Office. The firm specialized in criminal defense in both State and Federal Courts. The firm name changed to Ball & Hase, PC when Scott Wisch was elected to be a criminal district court Judge. The firm's criminal defense practice has continued at the same location since 1987. Wes Ball & Don Hase have continued to receive recognition from professional colleagues earning the designation as Texas Super Lawyers from 2009 through the present. The well regarding Martindale Hubbell attorney rating publication has rated both Wes and Don as AV Preeminent, their highest rating. Ball & Hase, PC have maintained a practice exclusively in criminal law and do not just dabble in this practice area while also practicing family law, personal injury law and other areas of legal practice.
