Allies in Hope, formerly known as AIDS Foundation Houston, is a prominent community leader in the greater Houston area, dedicated to ending the HIV epidemic. With over 40 years of experience, they strive to eliminate the stigma surrounding HIV and STIs, offering free and confidential testing, treatment, counseling, and prevention consultations. Their comprehensive programs also include housing, a food pantry, case management, and outreach and education initiatives, making a significant impact on the lives of thousands of individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS in the community. Through their commitment to providing essential services, Allies in Hope has served over 6,000 people, offering housing, prevention, treatment, and supportive services for youth, families, prison inmates, and those impacted by HIV/AIDS. With a focus on early detection and treatment, they have tested over 1,400 individuals for HIV and provided education on PrEP.
