Established in 2001, Frank Tejeda Middle School enrolls more than 1,500 students in grades six through eight. The school operates fine arts, English, math and social studies departments. It operates book, chess and Spanish clubs, as well as a student council. The school offers membership options in the National Junior Honor Society. It provides special education programs for students with learning difficulties. The school operates a library and offers guidance counseling services. It provides several sports activities, such as football, volleyball, basketball, tennis and golf. The school has a parent-teacher association.
